Privacy

Sakuzas HQ is a small fan project. We try to collect as little as possible, and we don't share anything with anyone.

What we collect

When you sign in with Discord, we receive your Discord user ID, username, and avatar. We also check whether you're a member of Sakura's Discord server and which roles you hold there (so we can grant moderator powers to people the server already trusts).

We don't ask Discord for your email address, your password, or any payment information.

What we store

Your posts, comments, likes, uploaded images, and emote contributions are stored in our database and (for media) in our Cloudflare R2 bucket. We also keep short-lived rate-limit timestamps to discourage spam, and an internal mod audit log for accountability on moderation actions.

We don't use third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or trackers. The only outbound calls your browser makes from this site are to embed third-party content you click on or that you've linked to in a post (YouTube, Twitch, X, TikTok).

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from /settings. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Your profile, sessions, and likes are deleted; your posts, comments, and emote contributions stay up but are re-attributed to [deleted user]. Removing them outright would tear holes in other people's conversations. If you want a specific post or comment fully gone before you delete your account, do that first.

Bans & moderation

If you're banned, your Discord user ID is recorded so future sign-in attempts are blocked. Mod actions are logged with the acting mod, target, and reason; this log is visible to mods only.
